NFR 2016 count down already began and all fans of National Final Rodeo are waiting to watch the biggest rodeo events of the year of 2016. Those who are the regular readers of my website already know that I am writing about top 15th professional rodeo contestant based on there All Rounder NFR standings on daily basis. So here is my little effort to write about the Shay Carroll who’s current NFR standing is 10th in All-Round section. All fans already know that my site will provide full NFR Live Coverage in HD quality.

S Carroll is very consistent performer & he is improving his ranking in rodeo standing regularly we know that advancing in rodeo rank is very hard & Shay Carroll has accomplished it. Shay Carroll already qualified for the NHSRF (National High School Rodeo Finals) he also qualified for the CNFR (College National Finals Rodeo). Shay Carroll won the championship title in the heeling there in 2010, but it would be 4 more years before he would qualify for the Wrangler NFR (National Finals Rodeo).

Shay Carroll transferred to Tarleton State University & He focused on his study as a marketing student. After then he eased into the PRCA raking by setting achievable goals along the way. First he was qualifying for the Mountain States Circuit Finals in 2012. Shay Carroll won that & got advance to the RAM National Circuit Finals in 2013. In 2014, Shay Carroll qualified for his first National Final Rodeo (NFR) & roped in Las Vegas with Charly Crawford. In 2016 Shay Carroll has been roping with another college champion Kolton Schmidt. To achieve and improving his rank in rodeo competition Shay Carroll has utilize his lessons he learned from his father Dick Carroll & grandfather Truett Carroll. Rhen Richard has come so close to qualifying for NFR 2016 in 3 events team roping as both a header, a heeler & tie-down roping. Rhen Richard is a Union High graduate who decided to join professional rodeo and competes in team roping with Nick Sartain of Pilot Point, Texas, that helps him to earn $26,000 in five days last week events, increasing in the profitable expansion of rodeos popularly known as “Cowboy Christmas.”

Rhen Richard has now earned $31,612 since starting his professional rodeo career and has rise his position 14 among heelers in the Crusher Rentals Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) World Standings. We already know that the top 15 will qualify for the season-ending NFR (National Finals Rodeo) in Las Vegas, 2016. Rhen Richard, who won the all-around cowboy championship last summer’s NHSFR (National High School Finals Rodeo). Rhen Richard won the $26,000 at rodeos in Nevada, Wyoming, Montana&Arizona last week. Rhen will hit a rodeo in Sheridan, Wyoming.

National Final Rodeo 2016 (NFR Live) about to start from 1st December to 10th December 2016. All fans are eagerly waiting to watch this heartthrob rodeo events. Most of the National Final Rodeo (NFR) fans already bought his ticket to attend in Las Vegas. But there are thousands of thousand fans through out the world and there is a limited number of seat available in Rodeo venue. So most of the fans did not able to attend physically on the venue. So most of the Fans want to watch NFR Live Coverage through TV, iPhone Mobile, PC. We already know that CBS Sports Network will broadcast then events live form Las Vegas. Ryle Smith is another potential world title winner of NFR 2016. His current performance indicates that he will be a tough contestant for others specially on Tie Down Roper and Steer Wrestler section. NFR Standings

R Smith recent winning at the RAM California CFR (Circuit Finals Rodeo) is become traditional because he is very consistent to win this events. Ryle Smith the 29-year roper from Oakdale, California, emerge on top for the 5th time in 6 years at the October 7 to October 8 Circuit Finals Rodeo, finishing an average time of 27.6 seconds on 3 head.

NFR Results

As the last tie-down roper in line, Ryle got to observe his competition & get a feeling for what he required to stay in the top of the position. Ryle finish his competition in the dust during the 1st round timing 9.1-second run, that is more than 2 seconds ahead of the 2nd-fastest time. Smith maintained the pace in the 2nd round, making his fastest time at the RCCFR & timing is 8.8 seconds.

NFR Schedule

Ryle finished 2nd in the 3rd round with a 9.7 seconds, just fractions of a second behind Jordan Ketscher’s 9.4. Those 3 times associated to push Ryle Smith’s ticket to the April 6-9 RAM NCFR (National Circuit Finals Rodeo) in Kissimmee city, Florida. Ryle earned $8,155 in Lancaster as he also was the all-around champion. Ryle’s 5 win at the RCCFR have all been on his horse, Trouble With The Chick. NFR popularly known as WNFR (the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo) for sponsorship title, arranged by the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association), is the prime championship rodeo competitions in the United States. The National Finals Rodeo display PRCA’s top fifteen super performance to gain prize money in each event as they race with against for the world title. The National Finals Rodeo is scheduled each year in the 1st week of December and this year of 2016 is schedule to 1st December to 10th December, at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The NFR (National Finals Rodeo), popularly known as the “Super Bowl of Rodeo,” is a world championship title event held annually by the PRCA. Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association organized the National Finals Rodeo in 1958 in order to find the world champion in each of rodeo’s 7 main events such as Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Bareback Riding, Tie Down Roping & Team Roping. The world championship for Steer Roping held separately from regular National Finals Rodeo. The first National Finals Rodeo was held in Dallas in 1959 & followed by at that venue till 1961. But Los Angels Hosted from 1962 to 1964.

After then Oklahoma City successfully bid in 1964 to be the host city. In 1965 the first National Finals Rodeo attract 47,027 fans. Las Vegas bid for the NFR in 1984 . Therefore the Oklahoma City Council decided to build a new $30 million arena at Fairgrounds, But the Las Vegas won the bid. Since 1985 the National Finals Rodeo has been held in the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas. The National Finals Rodeo has become Thomas & Mack Center arena’s biggest events, gathering more than 170,000 fans in the ten-day event.

Year of 2001 a great sponsorship deal was signed & Wrangler became the 1st title sponsor of the NFR. The deal, part of the PRCA’s on going effort to develop professional rodeo to a new level. Again Oklahoma City has bid to return the National Finals Rodeo to Oklahoma, but is always outbid by Las Vegas. In 2011 Oklahoma was the host city of the RNCFR (PRCA’s semi-pro series). This was a remarkable step for the crowds exist in Oklahoma, effort to bring the National Finals Rodeo back when Las Vegas scheduled to end in 2014.
