Morgan Grant’s current standings is 14th in All-Around of National Final Rodeo (NFR) and make his earnings’s of $61,963. He is really making his best effort to participate in NFR (National Final Rodeo) 2016 with a view to achieve world championship title. Not only Canadian fans but also all rodeo fans around the world are waiting for watching his best performance that will help Morgan to achieve his dream world championship title.

M Grant is the 2013 CHPC (Canadian High Point Champion). In 2013 Morgan Grant won the all-around at 4 rodeos, the steer wrestling at 4 rodeos & won the tie-down roping at 2 rodeos. In 2014 season Grant is off to a great start winning the all-around & tie-down roping championship at the Rusk County Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo & the all-around at the Crockett Lions Club Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo. Morgan Grant’s fastest tie-down run is 7.2 seconds.

This year will be Morgan Grant first appearance, alongside Morgan’s 16 year old horse, at the Calgary Stampede venue. Morgan Grant will also be competing in the Steer Wrestling event on his nine year old horse. He began his rodeo career participating in steer wrestling, tie-down roping & team roping in High School rodeo then participate in steer wrestling & tie-down roping in College rodeo. Morgan Grant also has a degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M.

To assume better about the upcoming world championship winner we have to know more about the current All Around NFR Standings. As a fans I am trying to highlights little about top 15 contestants from current NFR Standings. Today I will write about Jordan Ketscher who is currently rank in number 15.

1 year ago, J Ketscher leave the FWSS (Fort Worth Stock Show) & Rodeo with a 2nd-place position in the tie-down roping that brings $12,455 in earnings for him. That was the maximum earnings that Jordan had ever made at a rodeo. Jordan came to this 2016’s rodeo here with the faith that he could race against the NFR world’s best & win the world title of National Finals Rodeo 2016 successfully.

Ketscher is the habitat of the Squaw Valley, Calif & tied his first calf in 8.3 seconds on 20th January that is known as slack competition. Ketscher time was very much enough to gain 5th place and earn $2,903. He had his 2nd round of events at the Monday morning performance & in front of a full house gallery of current and former NFR competitor those stop the clock in 8.7 seconds.

Jordan is now in 1st place in the overall NFR standings with a total time of 17.0 seconds. The 4-time College NFR qualifier competed with 21st place in the PRCA world standings in 2015. He slightly missed a trip to Las Vegas to participate at the NFR. He is now given his best effort to get there this year and a big win. Jordan is currently 14th in the world standings. Now Ketscher is moved to Rapid City, S.D. to join at the Black Hills Stock Show. After that he will back here to rope in the championship finals competition on Saturday night. The NFR (National Finals Rodeo) make big investment for the future of the 2016 Junior NFR (National Finals Rodeo) to be held in Las Vegas, from December 1 to December 5, 2016. The NJFR (National Junior Finals Rodeo) is the only junior rodeo sponsored with the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), with junior competing in Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Bareback Riding, Tie Down Roping & Team Roping. Huntley Project Junior High School’s VII grade student, Worden who qualified at 66th in the competition with his third average finish in Rock Springs at the Mountain States Regional Finals.

Montgomery has been involve all his life for rodeoing, ranching, riding horses. In this summer he make his first try with riding bareback horses. Montgomery The twelve years boy started his championship win journey at the Yuba City, California. He was also the Shakespeare Ranch Rodeo Champion, the Weaverville Rodeo Champion, Daly City, Cow Palace Champion, California. These wins ranked 4th Montgomery in the Wild West Buckers also helping him to qualify for the Mountain States Regional Finals in Rock Springs events, Wyoming. The National Finals Rodeo display PRCA’s top fifteen super performance to gain prize money in each event as they race with against for the world title. The National Finals Rodeo is scheduled each year in the 1st week of December and this year of 2016 is schedule to 1st December to 10th December, at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The NFR (National Finals Rodeo), popularly known as the “Super Bowl of Rodeo,” is a world championship title event held annually by the PRCA. Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association organized the National Finals Rodeo in 1958 in order to find the world champion in each of rodeo’s 7 main events such as Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Bareback Riding, Tie Down Roping & Team Roping. The world championship for Steer Roping held separately from regular National Finals Rodeo. The first National Finals Rodeo was held in Dallas in 1959 & followed by at that venue till 1961. But Los Angels Hosted from 1962 to 1964.

After then Oklahoma City successfully bid in 1964 to be the host city. In 1965 the first National Finals Rodeo attract 47,027 fans. Las Vegas bid for the NFR in 1984 . Therefore the Oklahoma City Council decided to build a new $30 million arena at Fairgrounds, But the Las Vegas won the bid. Since 1985 the National Finals Rodeo has been held in the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas. The National Finals Rodeo has become Thomas & Mack Center arena’s biggest events, gathering more than 170,000 fans in the ten-day event.

Year of 2001 a great sponsorship deal was signed & Wrangler became the 1st title sponsor of the NFR. The deal, part of the PRCA’s on going effort to develop professional rodeo to a new level. Again Oklahoma City has bid to return the National Finals Rodeo to Oklahoma, but is always outbid by Las Vegas. In 2011 Oklahoma was the host city of the RNCFR (PRCA’s semi-pro series). This was a remarkable step for the crowds exist in Oklahoma, effort to bring the National Finals Rodeo back when Las Vegas scheduled to end in 2014.
